My name is Tim Donaghy. I really like long walks on the beach...(ok, well not exactly, actually I like the beach but hate walking on it... cause you know... you always get sand in between the toes or in the shoes, and that really sucks, lol...)
Actually... I'm a musician from Nashua, NH. (Born & Raised) I love writing, playing, and performing music. I have been playing and writing for many years, however recently I have only just begun to explore my creative potential and capture some overall sounds and exploratory ideas. (Actually I recently wrote and roughly recorded a few of those ideas for the Your Next Record With Slash Contest.) Previously I've pretty much always kept my original songs to myself! Now I'm really into and love sharing some my ideas with you - my fans and audience! (Mostly to just family and friends... but its fun to say fans when you love playin' music - Isn't that what's it all about?)
To be honest, last March my older brother Michael passed way from a heart attack at age 34. This kinda put me in a state of shock... really don't think I've even faced it yet. When this happened, my family and I started an Annual Benefit Concert and Motorcycle Tribute Ride, called the Rock and Ride Your Heart Out Benefit. (Which all proceeds go to the American Heart Association.) For this benefit I took the first step to writing and most importantly playing these original songs for audiences. And so, this is ultimately some of my creative and emotionally energy for writing and exploring my own original rock and hard rock music. Remember is a song I wrote in memory of Michael P. Donaghy.
I write, compose, and perform all the instruments for every song I do. Lately I've been writing all the time... and this site I designed to help me express and release some of the ideas I have for my music. (I hope you like the site! I think it's cool, but then again I made it, lmao!) I'll post up more about myself at some other point in time, but until then, please enjoy the site, the music - and if you're a fello musician - Keep on Rockin'! //td
